After my visit to their OPEN DAY today, I must admit they certainly are providing a well cared for, friendly environment for residents from Lifestyle retirees to Palliative Care residents. What a wonderful idea, once you are there you never have to move again.
Ian, one of Tall Trees consultants, kindly gave me a tour to show me the one and two bedroom homes. Wow so much
room! I thought the second bedroom was the master as it is larger than you find in most local homes. The lounge room is extremely spacious in both the one and two bedroom home and the thoughtfully designed bathroom has no trip hazzards, an emergency button and handrail. There is an on-site restaurant serving delicious meals either in the restaurant or home delivered and another bonus, you can take your pet dog or cat, (that is if your dog is small of course).
Respect has been shown to clients needs where couples do not get seperated no matter what level of care is needed, which I found very heart warming. As I have a business dealing with many elderly people and their families, I understand this is very important for the welfare of both to stay together.
Having met a few of the staff at different functions, I can confidently say they are always very warm and friendly, and certainly dedicated to the care and comfort of their residents. Tall Tree have 5 Aged Care living Centres, Caboolture, Tweed Heads, Tanah Merah, Rochedale and Redland Bay in Queensland.
